Once again the Celebrity Trash Media are Cashing in the $$ on making a Fuss! about this

After coming across my photographer friend, Quana's Blog. Which then lead me to, Pet Rock . The Pop Culture Blog & reading all of the comments, people posted., I felt the need to express my opinion too!
I thought both "Quana" & "Pet Rock : The Pop Culture Blog" had great points, about this image. Especially Pet Rocks' in regards to Brooke Shields when she was a young star. Heck I still remember her roles in Blue Lagoon & her risky Calvin Klein jean ads caused up a stir --but not like this
June 2008 Vanity Fair photo of Miley Cyrus. Plus that all went down when I was just a little girl. The only way it affected me was, by adding to my creativity & my work as a photographer. Hell! Have you seen all the Hoochie Stuff that's out there!? I'd be worried about Booty Shackin' & Womanizing visuals, which has connotations & denotations of Pornography.
Annie Leibovitz, image of Miley Cyrus really makes me think back to my Art History class. We read a book in regards to peoples reactions to the Nude body. Michangelo was even criticized for sculpting David. There is a Huge difference bwtn pornography & nude. This image does not cross boundaries in being trashy. Rather it is Annie Lebibovitz, perspective of an artistic nude. Semi-nude at that! Being that she's wrapped in a sheet. I didn't know showing your back was such an ordeal.
Also to those who feel negative about this photo shoot. DO SOME RESEARCH before you start Bashing the Photographer! --Or anyone at that!
Annie Leibovitz is coming from a Creative Fine Art approach. Anyone who has been cultured or have a love for Fine Arts would see that this photo if Miley Cyrus is ARTISTIC . She looks amazing! Annie Leibovitz did an Amazing job in capturing Mileys Soft Elegant Beauty. Miley looks like a painting!

FACT IS! Miley Cryus shouldn't be punished by her Fans or by her employment. eg. Disney. Vanity Fair is NOT a magazine for kids!! side note: why didn't Disney PULL off Brittney Spears sister, Jamie Lynn Spears PREGNANT at 15 !! yes i know kids having kids is common, but it ought not to be endorsed. Not all 15yr old have financial support like Jamie Lynn.
PLUS Hannah Montana is a character. Its wrong for any corporation to have control of actors & force them into a BOX. Heck look at poor Brittney Spears, where is Disney now? Disney is just worried about their own Pocket Book. Again, Miley Cyrus was being Miley, not Hannah Montana.
Regardless, YES, certain teens might be interested in buying this copy of Vanity Fair. But the likely hood of them really be affected by this photo shoot is slim to none. Miley Cryus is EVERYWHERE!! its not like they are forced to finding Miley from only Vanity Fair.
PARENTS need to take the Responsibility of what their child/teen is buying or watching!! STOP Blaming the creative artists that want to express themselves!
GOODNESS! if Mileys' parents were there & didn't have an issues with the Professional photo shoot ..... WHY the heck DO YOU?? ..... think about that ....
